Experts agreed that this achievement marks that China has achieved a full set of coal to ethylene glycol technology route and industrial application ahead of the world. It is a world first technology with completely independent intellectual property rights. After the on-site investigation, experts of the appraisal committee pointed out that the complete set of technology conforms to the three principles of 'reduction, reuse and resource utilization' of circular economy.
