IV. polyvinylidene chloride film (PVDC). It is a kind of film with the best barrier performance, which is divided into heat-resistant coating films, such as gas barrier PP, CPE, pet and coated PVDC film. The development of low-cost PVDC coating/PP composite film can be used not only in drug packaging, but also in heat-resistant coating and packaging of heated food. PVDC film is more widely used and can be used to package natural dairy products. It has oxygen resistance and can prevent mold from producing carbon dioxide during its ripening process. At the same time, it can also be designed as a gas blocking PVDC film bag with a pressure reducing valve. It can be used under high temperature and high humidity conditions. During transportation and storage, it has excellent resistance to oxygen and moisture. PVDC coated composite film for medicine and food is used in the production of high-temperature cooking sterilization bags and fresh-keeping and anti-corrosion bags in China. At present, the imported PVDC coating film has been widely used in the packaging of meat products, cakes, tea, solid drinks, and plays a role in preventing water loss, blocking gas, maintaining flavor, corrosion prevention, preservation and so on

v. aluminized film. Vacuum aluminum coating is a thin film product that evaporates aluminum onto various base films under high vacuum. The aluminum coating is very thin. At present, vacuum aluminized films such as PETP, CPP, Pt, OPP and PE are widely used in the outer packaging of powders, granules and powders of traditional Chinese medicine, among which the vacuum aluminized films of PETP, CPP and PE are the most widely used. In addition to the characteristics of plastic base film, vacuum aluminized film also has beautiful decoration and good barrier property. VI. fluorohalogenated hydrocarbon film. This plastic film is a copolymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE). Generally, the speed range is narrow. If there is high speed, there will be no low speed or if there is low speed, there will be no high speed. High speed is nonflammable, with excellent barrier property and transparency. The film has a unique range of applications. At present, there are two kinds of such films, namely CTFE and ethylene trifluoroethylene copolymer. CTFE film is still soft below minus 320, and its melting point is between 360 and 400, depending on its grade and degree of crystallization. CTFE is chemically inert and can withstand the erosion of strong chemicals that metals, ceramics and other plastics cannot withstand. In addition, the water vapor permeability of CTFE film is lower than that of any other plastic film. In fact, its moisture absorption is equal to zero, and it can be compounded with various substrates, such as PE, PVC, pet, nylon, iron aluminum foil, etc. it can also be sprayed or plated with metal by vacuum spraying aluminum method. CTFE film and its composites are mainly used to pack tablets and capsules that need high moisture resistance

VII. Blister packaging of drugs. Also known as blister eye packaging, referred to as PTP, is one of the forms of flexible packaging of drugs. Because this kind of packaging has many advantages, it is more and more popular with drug users. In recent years, blister packaging and PTP materials of drugs have sprung up in the field of drug packaging in China, which has played an important role in changing the backward appearance of drug packaging in China and narrowing the gap with foreign drug packaging materials

the main material used for blister packaging is aluminum foil for drug packaging (PTP aluminum foil), which is made of hard industrial pure aluminum foil as the substrate, with text patterns printed on the surface and coated with protective agent, and adhesive on the other side. The function of applying protective agent is to prevent the ink from contacting with the inner adhesive and causing the drug to be polluted. The function of adhesive is to bond PTP aluminum foil and plastic hard sheet, so that the drugs are sealed. The requirements for PTP aluminum foil are strict, and the main indicators include: the number of pinholes, the heat sealing strength of the bonding layer, the adhesion of the protective layer, the heat resistance of the protective layer, the rupture strength, the content of volatile substances, easy oxides and heavy metals, abnormal toxicity, etc. Another material used for blister packaging is plastic hard sheet. At present, the most used material is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is generally 0.25mm thick. PVC hard sheet has good processing formability, heat sealing, transparency, barrier and mechanical strength

Because the blister packaging of drugs has the advantages of good protective performance for drugs, fast production speed, low cost, convenient medication for patients, small storage space, light weight and convenient transportation, all pharmaceutical enterprises of all sizes in China are equipped with several or dozens of drug blister packaging machines, which use PTP blister packaging materials to package their own drugs. Therefore, blister packaging materials have developed rapidly and have become the most common packaging form of ordinary or precious drugs.
